David Stout offers an Intermedia Performance course every year that grad and undergrad students apply for to participate in cross-discipline art practice.

The Intermedia Performance course culminates in a one day experience that is open to the public.

nanoGalactic is a spectacle
it is a media extravaganza
you enter the space and are transported into a whole new world
all of your senses are ignited
none of your presumptions are upheld

The group of individuals participating in UNT's Intermedia Performance Course study Music, Composition, New Media, Printmaking, Radio, TV, and Film.

They have collaborated for the past 3 months to build an immersive environment that emphasizes scale, creating works that utilize sound, sculpture, video, and performance to effect how the audience experiences space.

Ultimately, we drew a crowd of around 300 people, including some organic interactions.

Below is documentation of the outdoor space that I coordinated and the video pieces that I curated. The purpose of the outdoor space was to extend the experience outside of the theater, because only so many people could be indoors at once.
