My work is an expression of a pursuit of understanding.

I study the micro and macropolitics of human experience and share the results of that process with others.

I work in many mediums and use my study in New Media to find the most suitable form for a feeling, relationship, urge, or journey.

Ultimately, the goal of my work is to foster intimacy, invite sensation, and provide frameworks for shared experience.

I view the world from the standpoint of a black femme who descends from the Cherokee Freedmen and has mixed identity.

My experience in this self has led me to center community, teaching, vulnerability, and systems awareness in my practice.

I have observed how objects, spaces, and systems function or dysfunction for our ecosystem and I would like to share my findings to help us move forward thoughtfully.

I believe in experimentation and innovation within art historical context. I resonate with the Fluxus movement, Yoko Ono, Sophie Calle, Ana Mendieta, bell hooks, Toni Morrison, Miranda July, Franny Choi, Olia Lialina, Slow Factory, Long Time Academy and many other creations that are inherently participatory, world building, and powerfully feminine.
